My most asked questions about Zanzibar 🌀
1. Where did I stay? bezanzibar (highly recommend!)
2. Best activities to do? You need to do a boat trip to Mnemba island, the snorkeling around Zanzibar is incredible!
3. Is it safe? We felt safe the entire time. Take the normal precautions that you would anywhere! But I honestly felt more unsafe in London haha
4. Best time to visit? Technically June to October which is dry season but we went in late February and had sunshine every day!
5. Can I fly my drone there? We had no issues with this and there seemed to be a lot of people flying drones too.
6. Did you need any special requirements to enter? Zanzibar actually had the most requirements that I've encountered for a while. You'll need an evisa and also ZIC travel insurance (even if you have travel insurance, you'll still need to get this 🥲)
7. What can I wear? To be respectful you'll need to cover your knees and shoulders in some areas but it seemed like bikinis were the normal at all the beaches we visited
8. Is it expensive? I wouldn't say it was expensive however it definitely cost more than I was expecting! But that could also have been the area/restaurants/hotel I was staying at
P.S. I have a more detailed blog post on Zanzibar answering more questions - link is always in my bio 🌞
