Zanzibar introduces mandatory tourist insurance from September 2024
As of December 1 September From 2024, all tourists visiting Zanzibar will be required to pay a fee of $44 for compulsory insurance to ensure their protection during their stay on the island. This new measure, promoted by the Minister of Finance and Planning, Dr. Saada Mkuya Salum, provides comprehensive coverage for up to 92 days.
