¿Es peligroso Zanzibar?
Muchas personas se preguntan si es peligroso Zanzíbar, y podemos empezar esta entrada de blog diciéndote que no, que Zanzíbar no es peligroso y que lo vas a disfrutar muchísimo. Es verdad que como en muchas ciudades, islas y países siempre existen algunos lugares o zonas que desgraciadamente es mejor evitar si no eres local, pero por lo general Zanzíbar no es peligroso.
La moneda que se utiliza en Zanzíbar es el chelín tanzano (TZS), que también se utiliza en el continente de Tanzania. Sin embargo, en la isla de Zanzíbar, el euro es ampliamente aceptado en la mayoría de los lugares turísticos.
La seguridad en la Isla de Zanzíbar
Zanzíbar es un archipiélago que forma parte de Tanzanía. Como hemos dicho, en Tanzanía por ejemplo sí que hay que evitar algunas zonas, pero en la Isla de Zanzíbar es muy seguro moverse.
En la página web del gobierno de España siempre te dan los consejos y recomendaciones de si existe algún conflicto que puede desarrollar conflictos o algún peligro, pero a día de hoy es totalmente seguro viajar a Zanzíbar. De todas maneras, te recomendamos que visites siempre esta página para saber el estado actual de la situación de la isla y país.
Debes tener en cuenta que Zanzíbar cada vez más vive del turismo, por lo tanto los turistas son algo muy preciado por los locales y hacen lo posible para protegerlos. Es posible que leas sobre posibles robos o estafas, pero eso como turista te puede pasar en cualquier lugar del mundo, hasta en la ciudad de Madrid o Barcelona. Simplemente ves con cuidado y ya está.
El peligro en Zanzíbar – Qué evitar
- Como hemos comentado, no hay ningún lugar concreto que es peligroso en Zanzíbar, todo es apto para turistas y te van a tratar muy bien. Hay quien recomienda que mejor no alojarse en la capital, Pueblo de Piedra, que sin duda es una parada importante por su casco antiguo, ya que es Patrimonio de la Humanidad, pero que mejor no elegir este lugar como alojamiento permanente.
En la isla de Zanzíbar puedes disfrutar de infinidad de actividades que te harán disfrutar de todo lo que ofrece la isla al máximo.
Seguridad en Zanzíbar para mujeres solo travel
En cuanto a las mujeres que viajan solas, tristemente existen algunos países que no es muy seguro ni recomendado viajar sola, pero no es el caso de Zanzíbar, ya que este archipiélago es un destino apto y alucinante para mujeres que viajan solas. Y claro, es posible que algunos hombres se te acerquen, como en muchos lugares, pero a tu negativa la respetarán y no te pasará nada.
Recordad que la principal religión en esta isla es el islam, por lo que habrá que reptar algunas de sus costumbres. Podemos ir en bañador y bikini por la playa, pero por los pueblos mejor llevar ropa que cubra más que el bikini o los bañadores.
En definitiva no es peligroso Zanzíbar, simplemente, como en el resto del mundo, viaja con sentido común y respeto, eso es todo.

7: mikumi or selous day trips : this is the Safari that you can do . It`s good for the people who have few days in the island where you can do a Safari trip in experience the wildlife.
8: nakupenda sand bank : Nupa is one of the most beautiful sandbanks in the island where you also experience cooking on the sandbank and you can swim and relax

THINGS TO DO
Stone Town:
Spend at least 2 hours here. The architecture is beautiful and there’s lots of great shopping. The island locals are muslim, so you’ll need to cover up when walking around town.
Jozani Forest:
Take a short hike through the forest to spot the cute Zanzibar Red Colobus Monkeys.
Snorkeling:
There’s lots of amazing places to go snorkeling around the island. I went to the Blue Lagoon because it was at our local beach by the hotel. The water temperature is amazing and there were so many colourful fish amongst the reef.
WHERE TO STAY
We loved our 2 bedroom villa the_bali_resort_zanzibar, it was so quiet and peaceful and just a 5 minute walk to the beach.

1. Um dos nossos passeios de barco. Uma das coisas mais legais para fazer por aqui.
2. Passeio para ver o pôr do sol em um dhow - um barco tradicional de Zanzibar. Um passeio barato e que vale super a pena fazer.
3. Passeio de um dia todo de barco que fizemos com o boss.ladys_dhow_zanzibar aqui.
4. O hotel que ficamos foi inaugurado em dezembro. É o zanzisoul_luxury_hotel Essa foto feita durante a maré baixa.
5. Pôr do sol no dhow.
6. Foto que eu tirei com o próprio celular enquanto a gente passeava pelo centro de Stone Town, uma cidade considerada patrimônio mundial pela Unesco).
7. Uma das praias que paramos no passeio de barco perto da Ilha de Pungume. Incrível!
8. Totalmente Hakuna Matata por aqui!
9. Meu pai caçando os palmeirenses de Zanzibar.
10. Hotel recepcionou a gente com essa decoração na cama.

Zanzibar Tips for FIRST TIMERS 🇹🇿Part 1 ⬇️:
1. DO NOT GO IN RAINY SEASON! Zanzibar has two rainy seasons- avoid visiting March–May (long rains period) and November–December (lighter, short-lived rains). I travelled at the beginning of the rainy season and 3 out of 5 were rainy days. In fact this dhow boat photo shoot was done in the rain!😅 I love the pics but what was supposed to be a 1 hr shoot turned into a whole day affair because of waiting out the pouring rain. Since most of what there is to do is enjoy the beaches and water in retrospect I would have rather travelled in high season to have beautiful weather everyday-especially if you only have 5 days at the beach you don`t want it to rain for 3/5 days- too risky! But if you are spending longer than 5 days at the beach and don`t mind some quiet days and changing plans around because of rain then def support tourism in the rainy season!
2. DON`T MISS SAILING IN A DHOW BOAT! Dhows are traditional sailing vessels that played a central role in the history of Zanzibar for trade and fishing! You can ask your hotel to arrange a dhow boat ride for you- sunset is a popular time of day to go but if you go during the daytime you`ll enjoy the turquoise waters! Cost of a dhow boat sailing trip is only 35$USD and up depending on how long and how many ppl!
3. HIRE A LOCAL PHOTOGRAPHER! Zanzibar is so beautiful and I highly recommend booking a photographer for a dhow boat or beach photo shoot! Comment "ZANZIBAR PHOTO" and I will send you the contact info for the photographer I used for this shoot! He was amazing and I highly recommend him!
